Water Testing in Tolleson, Done at Your Kitchen Tap
We test your water at the kitchen sink and a second fixture, show you each reading as it comes up, and explain what it means for your home. The test is free with zero obligation, and we leave the counter and floor as clean as we found them.

Why We Start With a Test
Every system we install is sized to numbers, not guesses. A water softener that is too small regenerates constantly and wastes salt. A carbon filter chosen without a chlorine reading may be more than you need. A short test settles those questions before you spend anything.
Water across the West Valley is generally hard, and the white crust on faucets and shower glass is the first thing most people notice. But hardness is only one reading. We also look at chlorine, dissolved solids and pH, because the right answer for your home might be whole-home filtration, a softener, reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink, or simply nothing at all.
We treat the visit like any other work inside your home. A mat goes down under the sink, shoes stay covered, and every sample cup and test strip leaves with us. Our 3 five-star Google reviews come from people who had us in their kitchens, and that care is a big part of why.

What the Free Test Covers
- 01
Hardness reading
We measure calcium and magnesium so we can tell you whether a softener is worth it and, if so, what capacity fits your household's use.
- 02
Chlorine level
Chlorine is what most people taste and smell. Knowing the level tells us whether a carbon stage would make a noticeable difference.
- 03
Total dissolved solids and pH
These two readings show how much is dissolved in your water overall and whether it leans acidic or alkaline. Both matter when choosing a reverse osmosis system.
- 04
Two fixtures, not one
We sample at the kitchen tap and usually a bathroom or outdoor spigot, so a problem limited to one line does not get mistaken for the whole house.
- 05
Results explained in plain terms
You see each number as it is read. We tell you what is normal, what is worth treating, and what you can safely leave alone.
Questions about Water Testing?
Call(480) 906-3934Signs a Water Test Is Worth Scheduling
White scale on fixtures
Chalky rings on faucets, showerheads and glass doors point to hard water. A test tells you how hard, which decides whether softening is worth the space and upkeep.
A chlorine smell from the tap
If a glass of water smells like a pool, a reading shows whether carbon filtration would clear it up.
Spotted dishes and stiff laundry
Minerals left behind after washing are a common early clue that hardness is working against your appliances.
A water heater that pops or rumbles
Sediment and scale settle in the tank and make noise as it heats. Testing helps confirm the cause before you replace anything.
An older system you are unsure about
If you inherited a softener or filter with the house, a test shows whether it is still doing its job or just taking up room.
Planning any new equipment
Before buying a system from anyone, it pays to know your actual numbers. We are glad to test even if you are still comparing options.
How the Visit Runs
- 1
A short phone call
We ask what you have noticed, how many people live in the house and where the main water line comes in. Then we agree on a time that works for you.
- 2
Protecting the work area
We lay a mat under the sink, set a towel by each fixture we sample and wear shoe covers indoors. Nothing gets set on your counters without something underneath it.
- 3
Sampling and reading
We run the tap briefly, collect samples and take each reading in front of you. Most visits take well under an hour.
- 4
Your options, then cleanup
We walk through what the results mean and which system, if any, fits. Before we leave, we wipe down every surface we touched and take all materials with us.
What Shapes the Price of a System Afterward
The water test itself is free, with zero obligation to buy anything. If the results point toward equipment, we give you installed system pricing by phone, and install is included with our water treatment systems. These are the things that move that number.
- Your test results
- Very hard water calls for a larger softener resin bed. A low chlorine reading may mean a smaller carbon stage is enough.
- How your home uses water
- A busy house with several showers running each morning needs equipment rated for a higher flow. That demand decides how large the tank or filter housing has to be.
- Where the equipment goes
- A garage location near the main line is straightforward. Longer pipe runs, tight closets or a new drain connection add time and material.
- Which system you choose
- Whole-home filtration, a water softener and under-sink reverse osmosis each use different housings, media and fittings, so each prices differently.
Water Testing Questions
Does the test cost me anything?
Nothing. There is no charge and no obligation attached to it. If your readings look fine as they are, we say so plainly and that is the end of the visit.
Do I need to be home, and how much space do you need?
Someone over 18 should be home so we can reach the kitchen sink and one other fixture. We only need the area under the sink and a spot to set our case, which goes on a mat, not your floor or counter.
Will you push me toward a softener?
No. The readings decide the recommendation. Sometimes a carbon filter or reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink solves what is bothering you, and sometimes the answer is no system at all.
If I go ahead with a system, who installs it?
Installs are handled by our partner plumbers. They bring the same care as the test visit: floors covered, old parts hauled away and the area wiped down before they leave.
Is there a warranty on the equipment you recommend?
Qualifying systems carry a lifetime warranty on system tanks. We will tell you which of the options from your test results qualify before you decide.
